Courier & Rider Payout Agreement

Terms governing courier registration, independent contractor status, fare splits, and secure payouts.

1. Independent Contractor Relationship

This agreement is between JARDD LTD and independent couriers. Couriers operate as self-employed individuals and are responsible for their own UK tax, National Insurance contributions, and vehicle expenses.

2. Marketplace Fare Split & Commission

For every completed delivery dispatch:

  • Courier Earns: 85% of total delivery fare.
  • JARDD Commission: 15% platform fee for software dispatch, tracking, and transit insurance.
  • Customer Tips: Couriers keep 100% of customer tips with zero commission deduction.

3. Secure Payouts & Verification

Payouts are executed automatically via our secure marketplace payout system. Couriers must complete identity verification (KYC) and maintain a valid UK bank account to receive automated transfers.

4. Vehicle Safety & Insurance Requirements

Couriers must ensure their vehicle (Push Bike, e-Cargo Bike, Motorbike, or Van) is roadworthy and complies with UK traffic laws. Motorised vehicle couriers must maintain valid Hire & Reward courier insurance.
